Last month we got the chance to travel from Boise to Arizona to photograph Courtney and Garret’s Sedona engagement session! The two are originally from Boise, but are finishing up school down in the Phoenix area. When we met with them for their wedding consultation we were brainstorming all sorts of crazy ideas for their engagement shoot and we finally came around to the idea of doing their photos where Garret proposed to Courtney, in Sedona! This couldn’t have been a more perfect choice. Ethan and I flew down early to scout out locations and finally found the perfect place for the shoot. However, it was a 1 mile hike up a steep mountain but lucky for us Courtney and Garret were up for the challenge and totally embraced the adventure with us! We really love it when our couples go above and beyond to explore new places with us because at the top of this mountain, the views of the sunset and surrounding valley were stunning! We are beyond exited to working with these two again next summer for their wedding the beautiful mountains of Idaho.
